A World of Cute – Available at WonderGround Gallery

June 15th saw the debut of the third show at WonderGround Gallery.  The POP FUSION show featured brand new artwork from Dave Quiggle, Michelle Romo and Liana Hee. And that was just the beginning. Instead of debuting all the new art at once, the gallery has decided to stagger the release of new pieces. New artwork from Jeff Granito, Jeremiah Ketner, Noah, Daniel Samakow and Kristin Tercek will debut on Saturday, July 13th. Make sure to check out all these great artists.

I’ll have two new pieces in this show – Love in Bloom, featuring Mickey and Minnie, and A World of Cute. ‘World’ features a big batch of Disney characters – including ones we don’t get to see that often. It’s a fun piece and one of my personal favorites. Both images will be featured on a variety of products and will debut July 20th. I’ll be appearing at the gallery that day from 5-7 PM. If you’re in the area, come by and say hello. For you Comic Con attendees, why not make a quick trip down to the Happiest place on earth for a little break from the action?

The new Hipster Mickey piece will also launch on July 20th. There will be a huge assortment of merchandise available to celebrate the kick-off of this new line. More details about the event are available here.

WonderGround Gallery is located in the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort (Anaheim, CA)

Good Vs. Evil At The WonderGround Gallery

The powers of good and evil have taken over the WonderGround Gallery in the Downtown Disney® District, Disneyland® Resort. I was so excited to return to the gallery on Saturday (Dec 15) for the opening of this brand new show. It’s always a blast to be a part of the festivities. It’s inspiring, humbling and exciting to meet the many Disney fans who come out to these event. They are always fun to talk to and so enthusiastic about the artwork.  I can’t tell you how much I appreciate their kind words and generosity. My sincere thanks to everyone who came out to the show to say hello. And a special shout-out to the great folks who purchased my Pinocchio (or “Pokeynose”) giclee.

The other great part of these gatherings is the chance to mingle with some fantastic artists. I’ve admired many of these talents for some time and it’s so great to stand beside them for this show. It’s always inspiring to hear their stories and experiences. So great to see Noah, Michelle Romo, Martin Hsu and Sean Chao once again. Thrilled that I finally got to meet Miss Mindy, Stephanie Buscema, Kristin Tercek, Ming Ong and Jackie Huang.

As always, the great folks at Disney made this a day to remember. Thanks to everyone who makes these events and this Gallery possible. That includes the wonderful staff at the gallery. Your endless energy and excitement for the art is such a big part of the WonderGround experience and I thank you for your efforts. Also, a shout-out to the Disneyland Ambassadors who are just so fun to talk to. I am honored to be a part of this gallery and so thankful for the experience.

There are some really fantastic pieces and merchandise in this new show. If you’re in the area, please stop by and check it out.
