Last weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL for the grand opening of the new WonderGround Gallery location. Nestled in the Marketplace Co-Op in Downtown Disney, the new space represents a more permanent presence for the gallery in Florida. I joined fellow artists Jasmine Becket-Griffith, Robert Jimenez and Michael Lewis Glover for the big day and two signing events over the weekend. It was a great time meeting so many really fantastic Disney fans – some which came quite a distance to be there for the opening. My thanks to everyone who came out in support of the gallery. I appreciate your interest in what I do! Thank you for taking the time to visit and talk all things Disney!
My latest Mickey and Minnie piece “Spring Has Sprung” debuted at the gallery and was also available as part of the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. What a treat to be able to visit the park during this wonderful celebration. The topiaries of Disney characters were gorgeous and the event food stands were not to be missed. I highly recommend the Dole Whip with the Macadamia nut rum and the macaron in the France pavilion.
I am so pleased to have more of my work represented at Disney World. In addition to the new WonderGround Gallery, lots of my art and merchandise are still available at the D-Street location in Orlando.
It was a quick trip but I had a great time and hope to be back soon. My thanks to all the great folks at Disney who made it all possible. I enjoyed my stay and all the events and can’t thank you enough for all the great Disney hospitality.
“Spring Has Sprung” will also be available at the WonderGround Gallery at the Disneyland® Resort beginning today!
