Another WonderGround Gallery Update

Steamboat Willie, Hipster Mickey, Warm Up Mickey and one mystery piece for the WonderGround Show in Downtown Disney Anaheim, CA

I’m back with more information about the new WonderGround Gallery opening June 9th in the Downtown Disney District in Anaheim, CA. The great folks at Disney have released another press release with the most current information. Check it out here. You’ll find a list of participating artists and images of the works that will be on display. But not everything has been revealed. Some pieces have been left under wraps until the opening of the Gallery on the 9th. The image in this post shows all three of my Mickey Mouse pieces but leaves one yet to be shown. It’s an image I’ve been TOYing with for a while now. Come to the gallery to get the full STORY.

I am so excited to be participating in this new concept. I think Disney is doing something really interesting and fun with their properties and I can’t wait for everyone to see what I contributed. There will be a variety of merchandise on hand – from deluxe prints to home goods and apparel. As part of the grand opening festivities, I will be one of several artists signing my work that’s available in the gallery. Please see the press release for exact details on the signing. I’ll be at the gallery from 3-5 pm on June 9th.  If you are able to attend the event, please stop by and say hello. I’ve been working really hard on this stuff and can’t wait to see what surprises the gallery has in store. I’ll be posting pictures and updates after the event. See you real soon!

WonderGround Gallery News

I was thrilled to see my Mickey Mouse design in the preview windows for Disney’s new WonderGround Gallery in Downtown Disney, Anaheim. The response has been great and I appreciate all the great comments! I’ve also received a lot of questions about the gallery and the opening. Here’s what I know so far. The Gallery will open June 9, 2012. I will have artwork in the show. I’ll be there opening day. That’s about all the information I have at the moment. When I hear more I will post it here on the blog. Again, thank you for all the comments. Hope to see you at the Gallery next month.
